This resort is large but never feels overwhelming, in fact if accommodated in the hotel everything is near to hand. Shops on site have a good variety of gifts and basics, I. e. Toothpaste, chocolate bars, peanuts etc. There is a beachwear shop and jewellers. It might be handy to know that there is a happy hour usually 7 til 9 at the XO bar situated on the reception 2nd floor, and at the time of writing this, it was every night except Wednesday, drinks are half price which helps when a glass of wine or cocktail averages £8 to 9 or 45 dirhams. This bar is really quiet, not many people around but does unfortunately hold a stale smoke smell, which is a shame, it didn't put us off enjoying the drinks though! All in all we love this hotel, mainly for the relaxed friendly staff and atmosphere, mixed with good food, comfortable rooms, plenty of shade due to abundance of palm trees in grounds, great swimming pools, fantastic beach and attractive public areas and surroundings.
