Showed up to check in and the only thing he at the front desk were room keys and a phone next to a note saying "call us and we will come down". Paid way to much for a spa room, only to be asked if we wanted to upgrade to a spa room after someone came down from upstairs. Place looked like it was supposed to be under renovation... but wasn't. Kitchen was not open, not because of COVID... just not operational. Quick sign in, here is your key and never saw the owners again, despite coming and going throughout the day. Room was clean-ish and cute. It was clear that cleaning was done too quickly. Awkward living space for owners in the center of all the rooms where they sat and watched westerns instead of waving or acknowledging that there were other people paying to be there. Location was wonderful for accessing downtown, building is beautiful sandstone construction and the town is great.
