Summary: If your expectations aren't to high, and you've got a really good discount, then it's an ok stay. The spa part is small and busy. We went in on the arrival day of a three night stay and didn't bother going back - there's nowhere quiet and peaceful to relax in the spa. In the one quiet room (which didn't really have any comfortable seats) I was really disappointed to find an electronic fire with images of flames on the screen. However, it basically summed up the place - an attempt at exclusivity done on the cheap. Right down to handing in your robe (nothing special) at departure so you don't get charged for them - I've not had to do that ever before - at any hotel. There are one or two staff who are friendly and understand customer service - the rest seem to be on autopilot. The breakfast and lunch buffets are ok with a number of items (like eggs at breakfast) requiring a supplement. Because the majority is self service buffet it's difficult to get any service, and with nobody clearing tables bowls and plates just pile up on your table.
